Leaders, Members and Staff

West Kilburn is a congregational church; run by the members of the church, who are led by elders and assisted by deacons.

Our church members are baptised Christians who have committed to our statement of faith and attend regularly. If you would like to join as a member of the church please contact us using the form above.

As we merge West Kilburn Baptist Church and Redeemer Queen’s Park our church is being led by a temporary Joint Leadership Team made up of the people listed below.

Steve is married to Vanessa and they have 4, mostly grown up, daughters and a dog, called Summer. After 17 years in Liverpool, Steve and his family moved to Kilburn in 2023 to work as our Pastor. Steve started out in Christian ministry working with UCCF, before training for church ministry at Oak Hill Theological College and Cheam Baptist Church.

Ray Sims, Joint Leadership Team and Church Treasurer

Ray is married to Liz, and they run the ‘Time4Tots’ group meeting on Friday mornings. They have 2 Sons and 5 grandchildren.

In addition to the Joint Leadership Team we have a small staff team who help the church members with the day to day running of the church. Both Steve and Luiz from the leadership team are also on the staff team alongside them are Jen and Seth listed below.

Jen Stewart, Youth Worker

Hi, I’m Jen and I grew up in Westminster as part of a Jamaican Family and I’ve been part of West Kilburn Baptist Church since the age of three. In 1997 and 2002 I attended Bible College for training in teaching the Bible within a multi-cultural environment, with an emphasis on young people. Currently my main responsibilities are the running of the youth clubs based at the church.

Seth Campbell, Trainee Minister

Seth currently works as a pastoral trainee at West Kilburn, and is married to his lovely wife Megan. They moved to London from the United States in 2021. As a pastoral trainee Seth assists the head pastor in day-to-day ministries. Seth graduated from Southeastern Seminary in December 2024.
